While the Philadelphia 76ers will look to bounce back on Saturday afternoon when they play host to the Charlotte Hornets, their two young big men were putting in work down in the G League on Friday night.
The Sixers sent Paul Reed down to their G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, on Friday and he teamed up with Charles Bassey to put on a show as the Blue Coats had a big 144-110 win over the Wisconsin Herd.
Reed had 18 points, 16 rebounds, and three blocks while Bassey had 33 points on 15-for-17 shooting with 12 rebounds. The two of them need the work with the Blue Coats as they do not have much of an opportunity to play up at the NBA level with the Sixers.

Coach Doc Rivers did explain what Reed has to do in order to earn more playing time with the Sixers and opportunities like this one in Delaware will help in that regard. The time in the G League will help Reed and Bassey continue to develop and eventually get their shot to play at the NBA level.
