Lamar Jackson was officially and unanimously named the NFL’s MVP on Saturday ahead of Super Bowl 54.
Jackson’s story and rise to football stardom has always felt like it meant a bit more than just what he’s accomplished on the field. He’s touched people in a way that we rarely see off of the field, too.
The Ravens put together a video that showed us just that. The team put together a video called “Dear Lamar,” which features kids from Baltimore are reading letters addressed to Jackson explaining how much he means to them.
It’s super touching.

Whew, did somebody cut an onion or what?
It’s an awesome gesture from Jackson’s team and it points to exactly how Jackson has affected people in that city. Hopefully, he keeps doing it for years to come.
