‘You live for these moments’ says Boston’s Jayson Tatum after Celtics OT win vs. T-Wolves

The second-half and overtime offensive explosion that saw Tatum match his season high of 45 points was sprinkled with high-level defense that was one of the best performances of the season.

If star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum slipped a bit in the 2024 MVP race, his play in the Celtics’ 127-120 overtime win vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves at TD Garden this past Wednesday night should have him right back in the thick of things.

The second-half and overtime offensive explosion that saw Tatum match his season high of 45 points was sprinkled with high-level defense that was one of the best performances of the season on any ball club. With the victory, the St. Louis native helped to push Boston into record territory, with the win being the 18th for the Celtics in a row this season, the longest the storied franchise has ever gone without a home loss in one season.

After securing the victory, Tatum spent a moment to do a sideline interview with NBC Sports Boston’s Abby Chin, which was captured by the “NBA on ESPN” YouTube channel embedded below.
