Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields has the potential to be a real threat in the NFL, and he showed flashed of exactly why during Sunday’s game against the 49ers.
With the Bears trailing 23-16, Fields marched his team right down the field on a 9-play, 68-yard scoring drive that resulted in one of the best runs by a quarterback you’ll see today.
Facing fourth-and-1, Fields kept the ball himself and looked to be stopped short of the line of scrimmage. But Fields made several 49ers miss and wound up turning what should’ve been a loss into a 22-yard touchdown run that was just too special.

Fields eclipsed 100 rushing yards with the score.
Unfortunately, Cairo Santos missed the extra point and Chicago still trailed by 1.
But it got worse. The Bears defense continues to struggle against the 49ers as they allowed San Francisco to easily march down the field and answer Fields’ touchdown.
Chicago trails 30-22 in the fourth quarter.
