The XFL is giving draft prospects a second chance to play professional football and as an NFL fan, I am here for it. The 2023 NFL draft is in the books as well as all the undrafted free-agent signings. But there are still many many former college athletes looking for an opportunity.
The XFL will hold its own draft to give many of those college players another chance at working their way into professional football and possibly use their time in the XFL as a stepping stone to the NFL. We’ve seen several players from the XFL already sign with teams this offseason and if this can turn into a legitimate farm system for the NFL, so to speak, it will be a huge benefit to both leagues. There’s no official date yet for when the XFL draft will take place.
News: The #XFL league will have their own Draft for incoming Rookies.
