Xfinity returns as entitlement sponsor of NASCAR Xfinity Series for 2025

Xfinity will return as the entitlement sponsor of the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the 2025 racing season on The CW.

NASCAR has finished the 2024 season, and the Xfinity Series’ future has become less murky. In 2025, the entire Xfinity Series season will be covered on The CW, with a broadcast booth currently “to be determined.” However, will Xfinity return as the entitlement sponsor for another year? The cat has been let out of the bag.

On the final weekend of the 2024 season, NASCAR held its annual “State of the Sport” address at Phoenix Raceway. NASCAR President Steve Phelps was asked if Xfinity was returning to its second-highest series in 2025, and he may have accidentally leaked the announcement.

“So the answer to that is, yes,” Phelps said. “We are working through some final things with the Xfinity or Comcast about their premiere partnership and what our overall relationship looks like. So nothing to announce today other than apparently I’ve just announced that they’re coming back next year. If I was not supposed to say that, I’ll retract that. They will be back next year.”

According to Phelps, Xfinity will return to the Xfinity Series for the 2025 season. The series has built itself up and arguably has the best racing across NASCAR’s top three levels. It would have been strange if another company was the entitlement sponsor, but there are no worries now that Xfinity will return for another year in 2025.
