Shedeur Sanders now has a pair of USF wide receivers to begin building chemistry with.
About two months after adding former Bulls receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. in December, the Buffs picked up a commitment from fellow USF transfer WR Xavier Weaver on Wednesday. Weaver led the Bulls last season in catches with 53, receiving yards (718) and receiving touchdowns (six). The fifth-year senior was also named second-team All-American Athletic Conference last season.
As we recently examined, there should be some competition in Colorado’s wide receivers room leading up to the 2023 season with Horn, Weaver, Jordyn Tyson and Montana Lemonious-Craig all worthy of playing time.
