Xavien Howard wants to be traded by the Miami Dolphins

Make no mistake, Miami Dolphins DB Xavien Howard wants to use his talents outside of South Beach.

Howard took to Instagram on Tuesday and requested a trade.

Here goes:

Howard was a second-round pick by Miami out of Baylor in 2016. He is a two-time Pro Bowler and has led the NFL in interceptions twice (2018, ’20). Last year, Howard had 10 interceptions and 20 passes defended.

He reported to training camp despite being unhappy with his current contract. And then lowered the boom on the AFC East team. He currently is under a five-year, $75.25 million extension he signed two years ago.

Touchdown Wire lists Howard as the fourth-best cornerback in the league.
