It’s not uncommon for WWE to hold a press conference about eight or none weeks out from WrestleMania to drum up more mainstream interest in the event. But it’s safe to say there’s never been one as highly anticipated as the one about to take place this week, where it’s very likely a match between The Rock and Roman Reigns will be officially confirmed.
Originally revealed at the tail end of the Feb. 2 episode of SmackDown, WWE will hold the “WrestleMania XL Kickoff” press event on Thursday, Feb. 8 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The event will be open to the public, without a need for tickets, and will be hosted by Michael Cole and Pat McAfee.
What can you expect at the press event? Here’s what WWE is promising:
Fans and media will hear from both The Rock and Roman Reigns, as well as WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Onsite interview opportunities for media will immediately follow the event with both participants, Cody Rhodes, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley.
Can’t make it to Las Vegas on short notice? No worries, because WWE will be streaming the event live for everyone to see. Here’s everything you need to know to watch.
