WWE and Fanatics are joining forces to put on something new at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia called WWE World at WrestleMania that will also seem familiar to fans who have been going to WWE events for a number of years.
Once upon a time, WWE had an event called WrestleMania Axxess in conjunction with each WrestleMania. It was a centralized place to buy merch for those attending the Showcase of the Immortals, but Axxess also offered the chance to get autographs from WWE superstars, see and take part in a number of interactive exhibits, and also sometimes witness a few wrestling matches up close.
Axxess was a thing of the past by WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles, which had a WWE Superstore that was mostly just that — a large store with few of the other elements from previous years. But WWE World of WrestleMania seems to be an attempt to recapture some of the Axxess magic based on the details revealed by WWE.
When will WWE World of WrestleMania 40 take place?
WWE World at WrestleMania will run for five days, from Thursday, April 4 through Monday, April 8. That means it starts two days before night 1 of WrestleMania 40 and wraps up on the day of the always popular Raw After WrestleMania, which is also in Philadelphia this year.
Where will WWE World of WrestleMania 40 be held?
The Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia will be the home of WWE World of WrestleMania this year. The address for that facility is 1101 Arch St., Philadelphia, PA 19107, and you can find directions here from any direction.
One thing to note is that World of WrestleMania won’t be within walking distance of any of the other WWE WrestleMania week events, including SmackDown, the show itself or Raw. Google Maps estimates it’s about a 15-minute drive from the Lincoln Financial Field area to the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
How much does WWE World of WrestleMania 40 cost?
WWE says World of WrestleMania tickets will cost between $30 and $240 for adults, with tickets as low as $10 for kids between the ages of 2 and 12 (children under 2 are free). That’s one big difference between this and a WrestleMania Superstore, which was free to enter.
Here’s what’s on sale so far:
- 5-Day General Admission ticket: $240 (allows entry at any time over the five days)
- Single Day Adult: $60 (purchased for a specific day when you order)
- Single Day Kid: $25 (as above but for kids 2-12)
- Evening Adult: $30 (allows entry on one specific day after 3 p.m.)
- Evening Kid: $10 (same as above but for kids 2-12)
Interestingly, there is no 5-day ticket for kids.
Fanatics also says there will be VIP Experiences on sale at a later date, and that General Admission ticket holders will have the first option to upgrade before those VIP packages go on sale to the general public.
What does WWE World of WrestleMania 40 include?
As above, more details about the event are going to be clear as we get closer. For now, here’s how WWE has officially described the first ever World of WrestleMania:
WWE World at WrestleMania will feature a variety of immersive experiences for fans including a central main stage that will host roundtable discussions with top WWE Superstars, a WWE 2K24 gaming tournament, live podcast recordings, live memorabilia and autograph sales through Fanatics Live, and the largest WWE Superstore in WrestleMania history. The event will also feature exclusive merchandise, autograph sessions and meet-and-greets with WWE Superstars and Legends, in addition to immersive exhibits and memorabilia honoring WrestleMania’s 40-year history.
