WWE has announced when it will hold its annual event to honor the U.S. military and where fans will be able to watch it.
WWE Tribute to the Troops will take place on Friday Dec. 8 at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, R.I. It will air at 8 p.m. ET on FOX, which suggests it will be part of SmackDown that week.
Tribute to the Troops first became part of the WWE schedule in 2003, and has often taken place at a U.S. military base. Indeed, the first seven editions of the show were held in either Iraq or Afghanistan.
Bases in the U.S. have also hosted the event, though since 2020 it has been an arena show. WWE has occasionally folded musical performances into Tribute to the Troops as well, though the announcement today didn’t include any indication that would be the case this year.
Tickets for WWE Tribute to the Troops are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
