After some one-on-one matches the last few weeks, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship will finally be defended tonight as SmackDown rolls into Wilkes-Barre, Penn. Naomi and Sasha Banks have been on quite the roll, but Shayna Baszler and Natalya believe they’ve got what it takes to end it.
(Then again, don’t No. 1 contenders always feel that way?)
We’re also expecting an appearance from WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey on this broadcast, and with Charlotte Flair out of action indefinitely, we could learn who her next rival will be.
And RK-Bro promised to show up on SmackDown and demand the tag team title unification bout that got shoved to the side in the final build-up to WrestleMania Backlash. We’re assuming they meant what they said.
