It’s time to turn the calendar if you haven’t already, and WWE is doing it with a special Day 1 edition of Raw. Knowing that last week’s shows were all “best of” editions, the company knows there is pent up demand for new action, and it’s looking to deliver with a card worthy of a premium live event that will be free on your TV tonight.
Will The Visionary or The Scottish Warrior prevail on Day 1?
Seth Rollins had one heck of a 2023, but the one foe he hasn’t quite been able to shake over the course of the year was Drew McIntyre. Driven by some of the more relatable motivations among rulebreakers in recent memory, Drew is almost like the perfect comic book villain now in the sense that fans can understand and possible even relate to what he’s doing.
There’s a difference between being a thorn in Rollins’ side and defeating him, though, as others found out last year. Would WWE consider a title change here to kick off 2024? It would be a bit surprising with Royal Rumble only a few weeks away, but you can’t rule it out completely.
How will Ivy Nile fare in a big time match against Rhea Ripley?
Rhea Ripley mowed down most of the Raw roster while defending her Women’s World Championship since WrestleMania, so it’s only right she move on to new challenges. In this case, that means Ivy Nile, who’s done nothing but impress alongside The Creed Brothers since arriving from NXT.
Can Nile ride that momentum all the way to a championship? Or will Ripley remind her why she’s been so dominant while in possession of that title?
Which former WWE champion will up on Raw Day 1?

The guesses as to the identity of said champion have been lots of fun. Sasha Banks now seems unlikely, but you never know. Could it be someone like Batista to kick off the Hall of Fame season? Will Andrade make his way back to WWE just days after appearing elsewhere? We’ll be anxious to see who this is.
