WR Xavier Legette meets with Bills at 2024 NFL combine

Xavier Legette and the #Bills:

South Carolina wide receiver Xavier Legette said at the 2024 NFL combine that he met with the Buffalo Bills.

With Gabe Davis posting a semi-goodbye message ahead of becoming a free agent, the Bills will likely have a need at the position.

In 2023, Legette had a breakout year. He recorded 71 catches for 1,255 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games played. While a strong year, it was his lone college season with any big-time production. In addition, his route running is called “limited” by The Draft Network and his run blocking is another cause for concern.

But naturally there’s reason he could be on Buffalo’s radar. At 6-foot-1, Legette’s contesting catching and yards-after-catch are praised. That’s an exact area Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott has noted he hopes to improve in next season.

Pro Football Focus has Legette at No. 64 at their draft big board.
