WR Rondale Moore among highest-graded rookies, per PFF

He is has the fifth-highest overall grade.

The Arizona Cardinals have gotten significant contributions this season from two of their rookies. First-round pick Zaven Collins is playing but has limited snaps behind Jordan Hicks.

But receiver Rondale, their second-round pick, and cornerback Marco Wilson, their fourth-round pick, have made a big impact.

But in terms of overall grades by Pro Football Focus, Moore is one of the best rookies in the league.

Through six weeks of the season, he has the fifth-highest overall grade among all rookies at 77.9.

Moore not only continues to catch everything thrown his way, but he is also creating after the catch. He’s hauled in 24-of-28 targets for 287 yards so far, with the second-most broken tackles after the catch of any receiver in the league (nine). He’s added a dynamism the Cardinals offense was sorely missing.

He has done this while playing the fourth-most snaps among the team’s receivers. He is on pace to catch nearly 70 passes and have more than 800 yards.

He has shown speed, moves to embarrass defenders and some amazing ball skills. He isn’t just a one-trick pony.

He doesn’t play every down like Wilson does, but it seems like every time he is on the field, something good happens. The more than happens, it will get harder and harder to keep him off it.
