WR Antonio Brown responds to Raiders Wire criticism on Breakfast Club

The Antonio Brown apology tour continues as he looks to rebuild his image after a tumultuous 2019. The former All-Pro receiver played just one game last season before both the Raiders and Patriots released him. He finished the season with four receptions for 56 yards and one touchdown.

In January, Brown was arrested on three charges due to an alleged burglary with assault. He was eventually released after posting bond in Broward County. While his legal situations are still pending, the former Raiders’ receiver would like to return to the NFL in 2020.

On February 14, Brown appeared on the Breakfast Club radio show and discussed recent criticisms by the Raiders Wire, suggesting that the apology tour won’t last long before another distraction takes place. Here is Brown’s response to that criticism on the Breakfast Show:

“As a man, you just gotta, you know do what’s best for yourself. Anytime you trying to make something right, it’s always gonna be people distracting and you just gotta stay focused on the purpose of the message and what I’m trying to give off.”

Over the last few weeks, Brown has publically apologized to his former NFL teams and teammates, such as Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brown continues to try to make amends for his past wrongdoings.

While his legal issues still could prevent him from playing in the NFL anytime soon, let’s hope that Brown continues to show remorse for his actions over the last year for all parties involved.
