Wow! Check out Jaylen Braxton’s strip-and-score for Arkansas on Florida

Arkansas scored on literal back-to-back plays in the first quarter, giving the Hogs their first 14-0 lead of the SEC season.

Something weird is happening in Florida.

Well, something weirder than normal.

Arkansas went ahead on the Gators, 14-0, less than three minutes into the game. The Razorbacks, losers of six straight games and with a brand-new offensive coordinator, have never won in Gainesville.

But after KJ Jefferson threw a touchdown pass to AJ Green on the team’s first drive, the Hogs would score on the very next play, too.

Florida quarterback Graham Mertz completed a pass to Ricky Pearsall near the sideline for about three yards before Arkansas began to swarm. Before Pearsall was truly tackled, cornerback Jaylen Braxton pulled the ball from Pearsall’s hands. Ripped, maybe, is more accurate.

The freshman corner took the ball back the other way 34 yards to provide Arkansasa with its first 14-point lead of its SEC season.
