Wizards star Bradley Beal has Sixers on list of preferred destinations

Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal has the Philadelphia 76ers on his list of preferred destinations.

Now that the 2020-21 season has officially wrapped up with the Milwaukee Bucks winning the NBA title, now is the time for the offseason to go into full swing. Everybody is now chasing the Bucks and they have to reload their rosters for the future.

The Philadelphia 76ers are one of those teams as they plan on building a better roster around Joel Embiid. One option is to move star guard Ben Simmons for a player who can create his own shot and be an explosive scorer around the big fella.

While the main focus has always been on Damian Lillard, another guy to keep an eye on is Washington Wizards star, Bradley Beal.

Like Lillard, Beal has remained loyal to the Wizards, but everybody has a breaking point and it appears that Beal might have reached his. Per Jake Fischer Bleacher Report, Beal could ask for a trade soon and he has the Sixers on his list of preferred destinations:

Beal does not have a proverbial list of preferred destinations, but it was mentioned by multiple sources that he would welcome joining teams such as Boston, Golden State, Miami or Philadelphia—although Beal requesting a trade would all but guarantee an expansive bidding war across the league. The number of potential destinations and interested suitors could span a significant portion of the NBA.

“Beal’s the guy right now,” one assistant general manager said. “The one guy that could be available, that could help you win the whole thing.”

Beal is an explosive scorer averaging 31.3 points and he shot 34.9% from deep while helping the Wizards get to the No. 8 seed following a 17-32 start. He then averaged 30.0 points against the Sixers in the playoffs and Philadelphia would be a scary team if they had a duo of Beal–who is also a willing passer–and Embiid.
