The Miami Dolphins seem to have found their franchise quarterback after selecting Tua Tagovailoa with the No. 5 overall pick in the draft Thursday night. And if there’s one thing we already know about him, it’s that he won’t be wearing the same number as the Dolphins’ last franchise QB.
Tagovailoa wore No. 13 in college, the same number as the great Dan Marino. Of course, that number is retired by the Dolphins, but Tagovailoa doesn’t mind wearing a different number.
Tua says he's not too worried about what number he wears. "I understand No. 13 is retired and it should be."
Off to a great start right there.

Tagovailoa has been praised as a leader and a high-character player, and it’s easy to see why. In every interview he’s done, he’s exuded a quiet confidence, while always being humble.
This is yet another example of that, even if it seems like a small thing.
