Pavey is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 1,128 player in the class of 2025, No. 110 defensive lineman and No. 46 recruit from the state of Ohio. He is commitment No. 10 for Purdue in the class of 2025. The Boilermakers’ group currently ranks No. 66 in the nation and No. 18 — dead last — in the new Big Ten.

Pavey was one of Wisconsin’s remaining top targets in the class. The Badgers appeared to be one of his top suitors, though things may have taken a turn after the program landed three-star DL Wilnerson Telemaque.
