The Wisconsin Badgers are 1-0 after a 38-17 win over Buffalo last Saturday. The win was not a cakewalk, as Buffalo only had a 4-point deficit at halftime before Wisconsin pulled away in the second half.
The positive from the game is clear: the Badgers are loaded at running back and will run the ball well all season. The rest is up in the air. Wisconsin’s offense looked shaky, especially throwing the football, while the defense was fine but not spectacular.
A good note is Wisconsin’s general health exiting the contest. There weren’t any massive injuries to note, aside from the pregame news of DL Isaiah Mullens and C Jake Renfro still working their way back from injuries sustained in the offseason.

Attention now turns to a Week 2 trip out west to face off against Washington State. The Badgers released their depth chart for the contest, without any changes to note:

Mullens and Renfro remain off the two-deep, meaning they likely won’t be ready to return this weekend. Aside from that, everything lines up the same as it did in Week 1.
