The Badgers added to their early 2025 offer list this week after an impressive camp performance from the son of a former Wisconsin coach.
Tre Poteat, a 2025 defensive back out of Verona, Wisconsin is no stranger to the Badger program. He earned an offer this past week. Poteat’s dad, Hank, is currently the cornerbacks coach at Iowa State, but served in the same role at Wisconsin for two seasons under former Badger head coach Paul Chryst.
It was a standout camp performance in Madison during the recent June camp that solidified an offer for Poteat.
The Verona Area High School product has over 20 offers, including those from Florida, Michigan, Illinois, and Iowa State among other big-name schools.
