This past weekend, Jim Leonhard and his coaching staff extended a scholarship offer to 2024 unranked cornerback Austin Alexander out of Chicago Heights, Illinois, following an unofficial visit to Madison.
For Alexander, an under-the-radar prospect, Wisconsin is his first division-one offer, although he’s reportedly receiving interest from Miami (Ohio), Illinois, Iowa State, and Northern Illinois.
The 6-foot-1, 165-pound defensive back from Marian Catholic High School has good length and projectable size for the next level.
