Wisconsin football is among the final nine schools in the recruitment of four-star class of 2026 offensive lineman Gregory Patrick.
The Badgers were listed along with Nebraska, Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Minnesota, Penn State and Oklahoma.

Patrick is currently ranked as 247Sports’ No. 155 player in the class of 2026, No. 13 offensive tackle and No. 2 recruit from his home state of Michigan. The 6’4.5,” 275-pound offensive tackle is one of the top tackles on the Badgers’ class of 2026 offer board.
Wisconsin is beginning to make significant progress in the 2026 cycle as work in the class of 2025 continues to slow. It recently landed a commitment from 2026 QB Jarin Mock, its first in the class. That commitment follows what has been a busy few weeks of offers in the class.
Thank you to the amazing coaches & programs who have invested time in recruiting me. I’m extremely humbled & grateful for their interest. Going into my junior year, I will be focusing on these 9 schools, but most of all on my @PNHuskieFB brothers & pursuing our goals! #RollSkies pic.twitter.com/swCJaxaQdP

Wisconsin importantly enters the 2026 cycle with new faces in powerful positions throughout its recruiting department. Rising star Max Stienecker was recently promoted to general manager. That occurred right before the news that the Badgers had hired Brandon Rose as an assistant director of player personnel, promoted Izayah Green-May to assistant director of player personnel and promoted Jared Thompson to college scouting coordinator.
Head coach Luke Fickell and his staff are looking to build on two years of strong recruiting output. The program finished the 2024 cycle with the highest-rated class in program history, then followed it up with a strong showing in the class of 2025.
Potentially landing Patrick over some of the sport’s top contenders would be a substantial recruiting win.
