Wisconsin class of 2025 defensive line target Kyler Garcia committed to Indiana on Wednesday.
The Badgers recently made Garcia’s final five schools along with Indiana, Purdue, Georgia and Louisville. He was a late addition to the program’s June 14 official visit weekend as Luke Fickell and his staff worked to add defensive line depth. Garcia announced his commitment to Indiana after recently visiting the Hoosiers on June 21.

The three-star defensive lineman is 247Sports’ No. 120 player at his position in the class of 2025 and No. 27 recruit from his home state of Tennessee.
He joins an Indiana class of 2025 that currently ranks No. 43 in the nation with 17 players committed. The class is Curt Cignetti’s first since taking over as head coach in November 2023 and follows a strong offseason of transfer portal additions.

Wisconsin’s class of 2025, meanwhile, is sliding in the national rankings after losing four-star CB Rukeem Stroud. The group currently has 20 players committed — two of whom are defensive lineman.
The program recently landed a commitment from three-star DL Wilnerson Telemaque, possibly taking it out of the running for more players at the position.
Either way, focus for the Badgers now turns to top remaining targets four-star DL Kade Pietrzak, four-star RB Byron Louis and four-star iOL Hardy Watts. The program will need another high-profile commitment or two in order to rise back toward the nation’s top 10.
