Wisconsin begins their season in paradise as the Badgers will travel to Maui for the 2021 edition of the Maui Invitational.
UW now has their first round opponent as the entire bracket was announced today. The Badgers will face Texas A&M in the first round of the tournament on Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. CT. Their first round matchup will air on ESPN2. From there, the Badgers get either Butler or Houston on Nov. 23 at 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPN/2.
The last time Wisconsin competed in the the Maui Jim Maui Invitational was in 2016, as they defeated Tennessee and Georgetown before falling to North Carolina in the tournament’s title game. The Tar Heels would go on to become national champions that season.
