The Badgers continued to slide in the latest AP Top 25 Poll after a lopsided loss on the road at Illinois. Wisconsin entered a new week at 14-6 overall and at 8-5 in the conference after going 1-1 this past week.
The win at home over Penn State and the loss to Illinois on the road pushed the Badgers back to No. 21 in this week’s poll, down two spots from where they were last week.
Michigan, who are still under a COVID-19 stoppage, moved up one spot without playing to No. 3. Ohio State rocketed up to No. 4 overall.
Rutgers is back in the rankings after four straight wins has their season back on track. The Big Ten continues to dominate compared to top conferences around the country.
