After an up and down week that ended with a cancelation, Wisconsin basketball moved down in today’s AP poll. The Big Ten, however, continued its 2020-2021 dominance.
The Badgers came in at No. 6 last week, but after an upset loss to Maryland last Monday fell to No. 8 overall. It was a 1-1 week overall for Wisconsin, as they responded with a big home win over Minnesota on Thursday. The Big Ten conference now has three top-ten teams, and seven teams in the top 25 this week. Michigan rose to No. 10 overall, with Iowa leading the Big Ten pack at No. 5.

Undefeated Gonzaga held on to the top spot, with Baylor, Villanova and Texas rounding out the top four in that order.
