Wisconsin veteran big man Steven Crowl scored his 1000th point this afternoon during the Badgers contest against the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Crowl becomes the 49th member of the exclusive club, joining big men including Ethan Happ, Frank Kaminsky, Brian Butch and Nate Reuvers.
He does it in only 106 games played. That career entering this afternoon in Iowa City includes averages of 9.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.4 blocks on 51.6% shooting from the field, 33.3% from three and 69.6% from the free throw line.
The veteran has been the starting center for an impressive stretch of Wisconsin basketball — spanning from 2021’s Big Ten-winning team to this year’s stellar group.

Crowl’s play is often the driving force behind the team’s wins or losses. More often than not, he’s putting forth solid performances and driving Wisconsin to wins.
