Loser: Offensive line
The offensive line was supposed to be the strength of this Raiders football team but is starting to look like a weakness. Facing a Bills team that has been leaky against the run, the line regularly beat upfront and didn’t give Jacobs any room to run on the day.
Jacobs had nowhere to go and was frequently met in the backfield before he was handed off the football. The yards he did get were from him avoiding tackles and making something out of nothing when the play was blown up. Rodney Hudson does not have the best season in run blocking, and either is Gabe Jackson. Ed Oliver blew up Jackson on the fourth down play that helped seal the loss for the Raiders.
This line has to get healthy fast and truly miss Incognito on the inside. Once this line gets fully healthy, this team should bounce back and earn their identity back as a team that can grind it out.
