We have a solid 3-game parlay for the Week 17 weekend of the 2024 NFL regular season after our holiday edition parlay crashed on the final leg and finished 2-1.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers Under (46) came through as our opening leg with the visiting Chiefs winning 29-10 Christmas Day. The second leg hit when the Baltimore Ravens covered as 6.5-point road favorites in a 31-2 pasting of the Houston Texans hours later.
But the Seattle Seahawks wiped out our winning dreams when they only won 6-3 as 4-point road favorites at the Chicago Bears Thursday night. We would have been better off had we gone with the Under (42).
Let’s get back on track with the weekend card. Keep in mind that it should be a wet mess at a lot of NFL venues.
After looking at BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL Week 17 odds, here is our “Winner winner chicken dinner” NFL parlay bet for the weekend to cash in on among SportsbookWire’s NFL expert picks and predictions.

Leg 1: Under 50 (-110) – Broncos at Bengals – Saturday, 4:30 p.m. (NFL Network)
The Denver Broncos (9-6) head east to square off with the Cincinnati Bengals (7-8) in the middle contest of a 3-game Saturday NFL slate.
The Bengals are trying to keep their flickering playoff hopes alive, but they have a few obstacles Saturday. First off, the weather will be problematic, with temperatures around 60 degrees with a 40% chance of showers and a light wind. Second, the Broncos have had a very good defense, allowing just 319.6 total yards (ranking eighth), 99.8 rushing yards (fifth) and 18.7 points per game (fourth) per game.
While the Bengals offense ranks first in passing yards per game (267.3), it could have some issues if the rain really picks up. Denver has a pair of running backs in Audric Estime and Javonte Williams who can keep the ball away from the Bengals and QB Joe Burrow for long stretches.
This game isn’t likely to be a defensive slog, but 50 is an awfully big number, especially with rain in the forecast.

Leg 2: GIANTS +7.5 (-110) vs. Colts – 1 p.m. (FOX)
The Indianapolis Colts (7-8) will face the New York Giants (2-13) at MetLife Stadium in the early window Sunday.
These teams will meet in a deluge, as temperatures are expected to be in the mid-50’s with a 70% chance of rain and winds at 10-12 mph with gusts upwards of 15-18 mph. It should be miserable, but at least it will be somewhat warm.
The Colts are battling to stay in the AFC playoff picture, but Indianapolis has failed to cover the past 2 games outdoors — in Denver and New England. Of course, the most recent cover outside was in this same stadium against the New York Jets in Week 11, a 28-27 win as 4-point underdogs. The Colts are 0-1 ATS as a road favorite this season, too.
The Giants offense has been a disaster, so this takes a little bit of a leap of faith. New York should be able to find a way to keep it within one score in what could be a lower-scoring affair.

Leg 3: Under 46.5 (-110) – Falcons at Commanders – 8:20 p.m. (NBC)
The Atlanta Falcons (8-7) travel to battle the Washington Commanders (10-5) on Sunday Night Football in the nation’s capital.
The Falcons got well against the Giants last week, winning 34-7 as 10-point favorites in rookie QB Michael Penix Jr.’s first NFL start. He didn’t do much to contribute, as it was the defense posting a pair of interception returns for touchdown to get the job done.
Atlanta is 1-4-1 ATS in the past 6 games, while going 0-3-1 ATS in the past 4 tries on the road. The Falcons have allowed just 16 points in the past 2 games, helping the Under hit in both games. The Under is 6-1 in Atlanta’s past 7 outings, too.
Washington scored a titanic 36-33 win last Sunday as a 4-point underdog against the Philadelphia Eagles with the Over (47) cashing. The Commanders have won 3 in a row, while going 2-1 ATS. The Over is 3-1 in their past 4 outings, and 5-2 in the previous 7 contests.
While the Commanders penchant for the Over is a bit scary, we should see weather conditions keep scoring down. Temperatures will be around 60 degrees, but there is an 80% chance of rain with winds at 6-9 mph. We’ll likely see a ground-based attack for both teams, which will help run the clock, which Under bettors love.
