Wilson Chandler, Garrett Temple scratched from Friday’s game vs. Heat

The Brooklyn Nets will be without two of their first-year veterans against the Miami Heat on Friday.

A week ago, Garrett Temple missed Brooklyn’s game in Dallas against the Mavericks due to a right knee contusion, though he was back in action for the Nets’ next game.

Temple appears to be dealing with the same issue heading into Brooklyn’s matchup with the Miami Heat on Friday. He has, once again, been ruled out due to a right knee contusion.

Another veteran, first-year Net will be out, as well — in addition to Kyrie Irving (right shoulder impingement) and Kevin Durant (right Achilles), of course. Wilson Chandler is out against Miami due to left hamstring tightness.

In his 11 games for Brooklyn this season, Chandler is averaging 6.2 points per game on 44.3% shooting (21.9% from three), while averaging 20.5 minutes a night off the bench.

This will be the first game Chandler has missed since he returned from his 25-game suspension, which he was handed by the NBA for testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug.
