Will UNLV Be Forced Back To Sam Boyd Stadium In 2020?
COVID-19 might slow down the opening of Raiders stadium.

The stadium is scheduled to open for 2020
Many states in this country are having non-essential employees stay home during COVID-19 and that includes a lot of construction workers. The state of Nevada is one of those and that means the new Las Vegas Raiders stadium that the UNLV Rebels will share could be delayed.
It’s a simple proposition. If citizens are prohibited from leaving home only to go to the store, the pharmacy, or to get gasoline, they won’t be allowed to leave home for work. And of all the jobs that now can be done at home, working on a stadium cannot be.
So far, the stadium is on plan to open for UNLV’s opener on Aug. 29 vs. Cal but if people are forced to remain indoors for an extended period of time it could mean that the Rebels will go back to Sam Boyd to play its home games.
There are already a few games that are being moved to Sam Boyd due to conflicts at Allegiant Stadium, so it could possibly send UNLV for another few games at their old home.
