Will the Raiders pick an offensive lineman in Round 1?

Heading into the 2023 offseason, the expectation is that the Raiders will continue to invest in their offensive line. But will the improvements come at guard or offensive tackle?

The Raiders have a stud left tackle in Kolton Miller, but could use a long-term solution at right tackle. They also need help at right guard and might need a new center down the road.

In a recent mock draft by Josh Edwards of CBS Sports, he did have the Raiders addressing the offensive line in Round 1. He mocked Peter Skoronski of Northwestern to the Raiders at pick No. 8. Here is what he had to say about that fit:

“Las Vegas could begin with Peter Skoronski at right tackle and see if his shorter arm length is going to be a problem. If it is, they can slide him inside. The Raiders have inside out needs along their offensive line.”

Skoronski is one of the top offensive linemen in the 2023 NFL Draft, but he might be better suited to play guard. Either way, he would be a big upgrade for the Raiders somewhere on the offensive line.
