With the Boston Celtics adding help to head coach Joe Mazzulla’s bench of assistant coaches, we could see more of a few players who did not get on the court that much in the 2022-23 NBA season. Especially if the Celtics make major moves with their backcourt players in an effort to rebalance the roster ahead of the punitive effects of the league’s new collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
Chief among them could be reserve floor general Payton Pritchard, who went as far as to make it known he would prefer a trade to riding the pine in Boston.
