Will Shipley: ‘I am the number one all-purpose back in this draft’

Shipley has a lot of confidence heading into the 2024 NFL draft.

Confidence is something you need to have to be a professional athlete, and former Clemson running back Will Shipley is not lacking in that department.

Shipley met with the media Friday at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis before running backs take the field on Saturday. During this, Shipley showed confidence in his game, saying he is the best all-purpose running back in this draft.

“I am the number one all-purpose back in this draft,” Shipley said.

A lot of confidence, and it’s easy to understand why. In three years at Clemson, Shipley totaled just over 4,000 total yards while scoring 33 touchdowns… a dominant player for the Tigers. He’ll look to back up this talk with a strong combine.
