Will other NBA teams overlook the San Antonio Spurs next season? The Spurs front office undoubtedly made the team a better one with the moves they made in the league’s 2024 free agency period, adding former Golden state Warriors vet Chris Paul to the team’s roster.
San Antonio also did well on the trade market, picking up veteran swingman Harrison Ingram for a song from the Sacramento Kings. And they did well in the 2024 NBA draft as well, picking up University of Connecticut guard Stephon Castle, University of North Carolina forward Harrison Ingram, and Ratiopharm Ulm guard Juan Nunez.
But after the Spurs whiffed (along with the Warriors) on trading for star Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen, how this team will play is less clear. Will San Antonio’s new-look roster be discounted by their opponents in 2024-25?
The host of the “Locked On Spurs” podcast, Jeff Garcia, sat down with “Generation Duo” host Brandon Medina to talk it over on an episode of his show. Check it out above!
