Nick Chubb suffered a serious knee injury last season. The Cleveland Browns star running back had a pair of surgeries to fix the damage.
There were fears for his career. However, those fears are now eased.
Nick Chubb injury update
The Browns play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday and they will have Chubb back in the lineup.
Coach Kevin Stefanski won’t overdo it with his star running back, saying he has a “plan in place” for his workload.

How long has Nick Chubb been out?
His injury occurred in Week 2 of the 2023 season, leaving him sidelined for over a year. Chubb rushed for 1,525 yards in 2022. The only year before last season he rushed for less than 1,000 was as a rookie in 2018 when he gained 996 yards on the ground.
Cleveland Browns’ running back depth chart
The Browns have been hobbled at the running back position, with both Jerome Ford and D’Onta Foreman dealing with injuries. Chubb’s return should certainly help alleviate some of the load expected from Pierre Strong Jr.
