Will McClendon enters transfer portal after Skyy Clark addition

Will is in the portal.

The UCLA Bruins men’s basketball team has been busy in the transfer portal early on. However, they have seen some departures as well on the roster, including Will McClendon, per Eric Bossi of 274Sports.

McClendon has a couple of years left of eligibility so should be a popular name in the portal. His numbers don’t exactly jump off the page, however.

He averaged just 4.1 PPG in 20 minutes and played in 31 games this year for Mick Cronin’s team. McClendon was a top-50 recruit in the class before coming to UCLA.

He also had offers from Ole Miss, Illinois, Arizona State, and UNLV (he is from Las Vegas) and should receive a number of calls in the portal.

With UCLA adding Skyy Clark at the guard position, it made sense for McClendon to explore other options,

More moves should be coming fo the UCLA Bruins with them moving to the Big Ten Conference.
