After a long week where he gave away an opening Tennessee Titans’ win with a horrific pick-six to the Chicago Bears’ Tyrique Stevenson, Will Levis had a chance to redeem himself on Sunday.
Instead, it kinda seems like we’re only gonna see more devastating surrender cobras from the quarterback.
With the Titans trying to build on a good quality start against the New York Jets, all Levis had to do was play within himself in the red zone. Either he’d take a good shot at the end zone, take the sack, or get rid of the ball. No matter what, as long as Levis played it smartly, the Titans would hold a double-digit lead late in the first half.
But that’s the key. Levis seems to be incapable of making the right play. While getting sacked, the quarterback decided to throw out a needless shovel pass that turned into a Jets fumble recovery because it was technically going backward.
Just … why?
Levis flips it backwards and its a Jets fumble recovery!

I have no idea what Levis is thinking at this moment. Why on Earth did he think this would be a productive play for the Titans? At some point, you gotta eat the sack and live to fight another day, man. Turnovers happen when you refuse to wave the white flag.
