Jawaan Taylor had to exit the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 16 matchup against the Houston Texans on Saturday due to an ongoing knee injury.
Will Taylor be able to start at right tackle when the Chiefs face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day?
Jawaan Taylor injury update
Taylor has been listed on Kansas City’s injury reports since Week 13 due to a knee injury.
His condition necessitated that Taylor exit the field during the Chiefs matchup with Houston in Week 16 and he was limited in Kansas City’s practice session on Monday.
How long will Jawaan Taylor be out?
It is unclear whether Taylor will have to miss the Chiefs’ matchup against Pittsburgh.
However, given that he was able to practice, it seems likely that he will be able to play through his injury.
Chiefs OL depth chart
Taylor’s backup on Kansas City’s unofficial depth chart is rookie Ethan Driskell.
While Taylor should tentatively be expected to play, the Chiefs may consider starting a more experienced lineman if their starter isn’t able to fight through his injury.
