Boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr. and YouTube personality Logan Paul have reignited talk surrounding the possibility of the two facing off inside a boxing ring after exchanging trash talk on social media.

Mayweather retired in 2017. He has since competed in a one-sided exhibition fight in Japan, and apparently will do so again next year.

However, after Paul posted a video online claiming he would “snap Floyd in half,” Mayweather hinted that he would accept an exhibition with Paul before he heads to Japan.

“If I caught Floyd in a real fight? I’d whup him. MMA? I’d whup him,” Paul said in the video on TMZ. “The only place Floyd is safe is the boxing ring.

“I would fight Floyd any time, any place. If I caught Floyd with one punch, I would snap him in half. I’m eight inches taller, 40 pounds heavier, half his age, two times as hungry, 10 times as smart.”

On Wednesday night, Mayweather’s response referenced his last official boxing match, against MMA star Conor McGregor, who stepped into the American’s world and suffered a 10th-round stoppage in Las Vegas.

“These YouTube girls better find some Barbie dolls to play with cause I’m not the one for the kid games,” Mayweather posted on social media. “Three years ago a fighter from the UFC said my name and I had to put a muzzle on that b—-.

“Paul can get the same treatment before I go conquer Japan again.”

Of course, although Paul makes mention of beating Mayweather in a street fight or anywhere other than a boxing ring, there is practically zero chance of the 43-year-old agreeing to anything that isn’t entirely in his own wheelhouse or anything that isn’t extremely lucrative.”
