As the Cleveland Browns take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 14, they will have to do so without second-year wide receiver Cedric Tillman.
Missing his second game in a row now after missing the Monday Night Football shootout with the Denver Broncos a week ago, the Browns will once again have to rely on Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore to carry the load at wide receiver in this matchup against the Steelers.
So what is the latest on the Browns’ wideout? We’ve got you covered.
Cedric Tillman injury update
Tillman suffered a concussion the first time the Browns played the Steelers just two weeks ago in the snowstorm. He was immediately placed in the concussion protocol and has not cleared the protocol now over two weeks later.
How long will Cedric Tillman be out?
There is no timetable for Tillman’s return, as he will return as soon as he clears the concussion protocol. Head coach Kevin Stefanski stated there was a chance Tillman could play this week, but that did not come to fruition.
The Browns will hope to get him back next week when they take on the defending Super Bowl champs.
Browns wide receiver depth chart
Jeudy, coming off of a record-setting performance against the Denver Broncos will be relied on heavily again. On his way to his first career 1,000-yard season, the Browns need another big performance from him in this one.
Moore also hopes to keep up his positive trend since Jameis Winston took over as quarterback. He is coming off a 100-yard performance against the Broncos.
The Browns also signed wide receivers Mike Woods II and Kadarius Toney to the active roster off of their practice squad.
