As the Cleveland Browns take on the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football tonight, they will have to do so without second-year wide receiver Cedric Tillman.
An ascending player for the Browns over the last four weeks, Tillman will have to wait at least another week to get back on the field, even with 10 days off since their previous game. In the Thursday Night Football win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tillman lowered his shoulder to pick up a first down on in a crucial situation. However, he had to be helped from hobbling off the field afterward.
So what is the latest on the Browns’ former third round pick? We’ve got you covered.
Cedric Tillman injury update
After the game against the Steelers, head coach Kevin Stefanski stated that Cedric Tillman was placed into the concussion protocol. He has remained in the protocol over the last 10 days.
How long will Cedric Tillman be out?
Getting prepared for this game against the Broncos, the Browns ruled Tillman out on Friday as he has yet to clear himself of concussion symptoms. The Browns will hope to get him back on a short week, taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers once again in Week 15.
Browns wide receiver depth chart
With Tillman out, the Browns will continue to rely heavily on wide receiver Jerry Jeudy as he makes his return against the team that drafted him in the first round in 2020. Elijah Moore will continue to see plenty of playing time as well, but rookie wide receiver Jamari Thrash may see extended snaps as a result of the lingering concussion of Tillman.
