The Pittsburgh Steelers drew rave reviews when they were able to select former Penn State cornerback Joey Porter Jr. with the first pick in the second round of the 2023 NFL draft. Porter is a legacy pick and an incredibly talented football player.
But is he a Week One starter? That will be what the Steelers coaches have to sort out in training camp. Veteran Patrick Peterson is sure to take the starting spot vacated by Cameron Sutton. But Porter will duke it out with Levi Wallace for the other starting job on the outside.

The Steelers could have traded away that No. 32 pick for a haul of draft picks. So passing on extra picks for Porter tells us that they want to get him on the field as quickly as possible Not sure if that means starting on opening weekend but he will be in the starting lineup this season.
Cast your vote and tell us if you think Porter will be in the starting lineup in Week One.
