NFC Wild-card Game 1

(6) Minnesota Vikings at (3) New Orleans Saints

Sunday, January 5th, 1:05 p.m. ET / 10:05 a.m. PT

Fox

Just a little Minnesota Miracle rematch, but this game is happening in the bayou. Somehow, the 13-3 Saints didn’t get a bye so they’ll be hosting Kirk Cousins and the Vikings on Fox for the first game on Sunday.

I hope Fox has all of those great primetime Kirk Cousins stats ready. This game was the other option for Saturday night if we are being honest. The Vikings are a national brand — somewhat loveable losers — versus a big name quarterback on a quest for one final title — Drew Brees is the NFC version of Tom Brady without the titles at this point.

Fox gets the game which means we will get Joe Buck and Troy Aikman in the booth. Not a bad way to start off the first Sunday of 2020.
