Nebraska football wide receiver Isaiah Gracia-Castaneda’s time in Lincoln has come to an end after three seasons. The former New Mexico State wide receiver entered the transfer portal on Friday.
He finished his career with Nebraska, playing 18 games and recording seven receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown. A majority of those yards came in the Huskers’ season opener against the Northwestern Wildcats in 2022.
The Twentynine Palms, California native was never able to find the success in Lincoln that he enjoyed with New Mexico State as he recorded 42 receptions for 639 yards and four touchdowns in two seasons for the Wolfpack.
Notably, Garcia-Castaneda was also the Huskers top punt return man in 2024 with 11 punt returns for 60 yards this season. He will have one year of eligibility left to play with his next collegiate program.
