McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) required emergency surgery after breaking his left lower tibia and fibula in the first round against Poirier at UFC 264. “The Notorious” recently finished filming and coaching “The Ultimate Fighter 31” opposite Michael Chandler, and the pair are expected to fight later in the year.
But first, McGregor is required to re-enter the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency testing pool. A mandatory six-month testing period is required before he’s eligible to compete.
