Who is the most valuable player on the Minnesota Vikings?
That’s a good question and there are some good candidates with Kirk Cousins, Dalvin Cook, Danielle Hunter and Harrison Smith.
Dan Hanzus over at NFL.com thinks it will be Cook.
Here’s what Hanzus wrote about Cook:
The Vikings may have given Kirk Cousins a contract extension before doing business with their star running back (a subplot to watch in Minnesota), but there’s no question who The Man is in Minnesota’s attack. That would be Cook, a do-it-all playmaker who topped 1,600 total yards with 13 touchdowns in 2019.
Things are a bit tricky with Cook right now considering he’s in the final year of his rookie contract and there have been reports that he will hold out of he doesn’t receive a contract extension.
Last season, Cook ran for 1,135 yards and 13 touchdowns to go with 53 catches for 519 yards.
