The Washington Football Team (2-6) has a monumental task in front of them on Sunday when the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-2) come to FedEx Field.

Can Washington pull off the upset?

Washington has lost four consecutive games, but there have been signs of hope in recent weeks. Unfortunately for head coach Ron Rivera, his team can’t put forth an effort where all three units perform consistently during the same game.

The week off came at the right time, as several Washington players entered the bye week hobbled. While Washington won’t return all of its injured starters on Sunday vs. the Bucs, All-Pro right guard Brandon Scherff and starting cornerback William Jackson III will be back.

What does that mean for Washington?

Not much, according to the folks at NFL Pickwatch. Over 99% of the expert pickers believe the Buccaneers defeat Washington in Week 10. The next closest consensus is 95% of the pickers think the Bills beat the Jets.

Of course, it doesn’t matter who anyone picks. As we saw last week when two massive underdogs won, anything can happen in the NFL.
